Insignificant Events In The Life Of A Cactus is one of my favourite books ever. I have recommended it to so many of my friends. It is such a wonderful book to read. It's realistic but at the same time, it's fictional, full of happiness with just the right amount of sadness and injustice to make it emotional and interesting. But I guarantee you that never in this book, will you find yourself feeling sorry for Aven. It is such a good book! If you liked Insignificant Events In The Life Of A Cactus, there is a sequel which is just as good and maybe even better. It's called Momentous Events In The Life Of A Cactus. Spoiler: I cried.
