We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

This may be my first review of a book I didn't like. At first, I quite liked the story line and the characters. But the book quickly became very confusing. I had to reread paragraphs over and over again. I don't want to spoil anything, but I can and have, read quite gruesome books. But We Were Liars terrified me. Overall, I think that E. Lockhart is a talented author and anyone who loves a good thrill will like this book, although it definitely wasn't a book for me.
